This spring I started keeping ducks. I have three ducklings that are about four weeks old now (14 May 2021). They are named after the Greek Gods and Goddesses Zeus, Hestia, and Gaia. Zeus and Hestia are Cayugas which are Cayugas. Cayugas are completely black with iridescent feathers. Gaia is an Aylesbury duck and will be a big white duck like Jemima Puddleduck (a storybook character featured in Beatrix Potter’s stories of Peter Rabbit and Friends.)

Jemima Puddleduck looks very elegant. I like that she holds her head up like a fancy lady. I bet if she has a pinky she would raise it in the air as she drank her tea. What is her personality like? Love, Aunt Jenn
